Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy
Gloucester County, NJ

Gloucester County needed to develop a comprehensive inventory of economic development goals, strategies, and projects that can be used to advance development issues, including those that the EDA might address.
Triad assisted the County in the preparation of a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The CEDS Committee, through intensive public discussions over several months, developed basic principles that have guided the CEDS process and will continue to lead the implementation effort.
The CEDS process provided the County with an opportunity to develop an inventory of economic development goals, objectives, strategies and projects, and provided a venue through which the County, its municipalities, educational institutions and other public and private organizations could be partners in assembling a shared outline of project and program priorities to realize the County’s development goals.
