| In a new and emerging community in the lower northeast section of Philadelphia, a major planning effort was underway. The goal of the plan was to foster the healthy development of the community by helping to weave a more coherent social fabric among the area’s many new residents, increase the stability and safety of the neighborhood, and create an environment that is attractive to both families and business |

| Triad was retained to facilitate the strategic planning process and brought in new resources, including developers whose participation in focus groups added expertise and information to the plan. Triad also assisted the community in identifying project ideas and priorities by using a variety of methods such as bi-lingual issue boards and surveys that gave all participants equal opportunities to express their views on priorities, projects, and desired locations for projects. |

| Wachovia Regional Foundation provided a grant to Impact of $750,000 as a result of the neighborhood strategy identified as the “Heart of Kensington” Neighborhood Development Plan. |
