The company, which helps small businesses and entrepreneurs explore emerging technologies and new applications, was searching for funding for a new incubator space and the construction of the Infotonics Commercialization Center. |

| A $3 million grant was awarded to Infotonics. The investment will help renovate the incubator space for start-up photonics, information systems and optics businesses. Projections for private sector investment exceed $130 million for this unique, world-class research and development complex. |
